Clare Gillan is a lecturer at Babson College, where she specializes in digital business strategy and entrepreneurship. Prior to joining the faculty at Babson, she was a senior vice president at IDC, a top global technology analyst firm. There she led teams supporting and advising executives in the areas of strategy, marketing, sales, product development, IT planning, and operations. She was also responsible for businesses serving venture capitalists and the broader investment community. In addition to developing and growing research services directly, she architected and negotiated strategic relationships with media firms and channel partners.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Gillan achieved broad recognition within the applications industry and was a popular keynote speaker at conferences around the world. She authored or co-authored over one hundred published papers and co-produced executive forums in the cloud and mobile space.
