Pediatric Critical Care Fellow, Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)
Dr. Sareen Shah is a pediatric critical care fellow at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where he is researching the application of machine learning algorithms on health care data to provide actionable information for medical providers. He graduated as valedictorian of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, earning a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University where he performed research on the development of an implantable bypass graft occlusion sensor. He then completed his pediatric residency at Northwestern University before moving to CHLA for his critical care training. He has been collaborating closely with the data science team at CHLA, serving as a physician consultant for multiple projects.
