Dr. Ser Nam Lim is currently a research manager at Facebook. He has led and conducted research in computer vision for over a decade. His research interests in computer vision currently are focus on adversarial learning, transfer learning and intent recognition. He is an evangelist of computer vision that generalizes while also being passionate about computer vision applications that change the world. His current work at Facebook is a direct testimony to this where he is leading a team of computer vision scientists and engineers to develop the next generation of algorithms that are capable of protecting the safety of Facebook platform by automatically understanding images and videos that are posted on Facebook in large quantities.
